Not long to go now until the first Elite Kids Coaching holiday camp of the summer. If you didn’t already know, Elite Kids Coaching runs various types of holiday camps in each of the different school holidays throughout the year. It’s been tough over the past couple of years with Covid, but we’re coming out of the other end now and are raring to go. Our half-term camps went really well and we anticipate the usual brilliant summer camp experience this year.

Holiday Camps
Our first camp of the summer starts on 27th of July at Ossett Holy Trinity C of E VA Primary School and places are almost gone, so if you haven’t already booked your children on there, you know what to do. There’ll be six camps at Ossett, and six at Lady Elizabeth Hastings C of E Primary School in Ledston starting on 28th of August, culminating on 3rd September. Each camp runs for four days, but you can come along for just one or two if you’d like. We might add more camps during the summer, perhaps at other venues, so watch this space.

Elite Kids Coaching camps are designed to keep children active during the school holidays, with rugby, football, dance and gymnastics being the staples. Each day will also have a specialisation, including sport, dance, survival and even a Fortnite activity (ask your kids). Our sessions are all coached by our highly skilled professionals to ensure that your children will improve their confidence and communication skills whilst having fun and making lots of new friends along the way. It’ll also ensure a bit of quiet time at home while they’re having a high time. It’s not all about them, now, is it?

Adventure Camps
Alongside our main holiday camps, we’re running three survival adventure camps this summer too, starting on 27th of July at Hundhill in Pontefract. These outdoor adventure camps are run by our specialist Elite Forest School team and pack an awful lot into the day. Your children will be busy orienteering, shelter building, open fire cooking and everything in-between under the very safe guidance of our qualified Elite Forest School team.

We’ll all be outdoors each day (yes, even if it’s raining) so children will need to be dressed appropriately; full trousers, full-length sleeved top, warm, waterproof coat and sensible footwear for a potentially muddy environment. In addition to this, children will need water bottles, a packed lunch and lots of energy! There’s no WiFi in the woods but usually, nobody even notices!

Rugby Camps
If your kids are rugby nuts, then these camps are for you. Many of the Elite Kids Coaching team have come from a professional rugby background, and we look to pass this skill and experience on at our specialist rugby camps. The first one of the summer is on 2nd and 3rd of August at Seaton Rangers in Workington, and we’re running camps all over the north of England, so check the Rugby Camps page for a camp near you. Children will need to be dressed appropriately, and will need a water bottle, a packed lunch and a lot of energy!

There’s something for everyone this summer – even mum and dad who can get some peace and quiet and know their children are safe, learning new skills and having fun.

So what are you waiting for? Book on today – places are going quickly.
